Asterix and Obelix is a side-scrolling action game. It starts with Asterix, for instance in the village (Getafix, Geriatrix and Vitalstatistix can be seen) and moves on. Asterix & Obelix was a great game in it's time. But is also very hard. Not berry hard, but very hard. Berrys can also be hard, but then I wouldn't eat them. But I would play this game anytime again. Even if it were a berry.

It starts with Asterix, for instance in the village (Getafix, Geriatrix and Vitalstatistix can be seen) and moves on with the player going in the forest and beating up the Romans. Later, the player gets a message from Britain and must cross the sea. The game takes place in different countries, including Britania, Helvetia, Grecia, Egyptia and Hispania. The aim is to guide Asterix or Obelix through each level until they reach the end. Both playable characters can jump, run and attack enemies, which are mostly Romans.

Astreix & Obelix is a platform game where one player can choose to control either Asterix or Obelix. The mission of the two Gauls is to acquire artifacts from all across Europe. It’s obviously based on the popular French cartoon that depicts Roman Gaul, copying the same style and humor. The cool thing is you can play this game in two-player mode, which makes the game considerably easier. The visuals are quite nice, in a cartoony fashion, with good animations and neat, colorful backdrops. Gameplay is standard, with limited lives, energy (you can take around 4-5 hits before dying) and various obstacles.
